Christ-Centered

We do not offer a system or a three step process for change but a person, a Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension Jesus has forever dealt with our sin and perfectly shown the depths of God’s love for His children. God redeems and restores us back into right relationship with Himself, others, and the world through union with Christ. This Gospel reality – relational and eternal – shapes the change process and is foundational to our approach with our clients.

Clinically-Informed

We are not reductionistic nor secular in our approach but rather interpret the complexity of the human condition (body & soul) through the comprehensive Biblical story. During His life on earth Jesus didn’t solely address peoples’ spiritual deficits. Rather, Jesus treated people holistically, addressing their physical and emotional difficulties as well as their spiritual needs. Our care follows Jesus’ example by considering clients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual realities. We provide care through the foundation and lens of Scripture while utilizing common grace findings of research and psychology to inform our methods of client care.

Church-Partnering

God has forever existed in the community of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and we, as His image bearers, are designed to live and thrive in community. Lasting, vibrant life change does not occur in isolation. God has purposed us to be formed and shaped in the context of a caring and consistent community. Therefore, we aim to do everything in connection with the church. This makes us unique to many other models.

Community-Renewing

Our aim is to provide a level of care that enables everyone experiencing it to be equipped to live on the mission God has called them to locally and globally and to see our communities renewed by the power of the gospel. We also see the great need within our communities for healing and care for the ongoing impact of mental-illness and brokenness. We believe the gospel offers great hope spiritually and practically as we seek the wholeness of our communities.

About US

We started the Gospel Care Collective to provide counseling, consulting, and Biblical counseling training to individuals and churches. With over 20 years of leadership experience in church and non-profits we specialize in serving pastors and ministry leaders around the world. We are a Training Center with the Association of Biblical Counselors and a member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition and the Society for Christian Psychology.

Our Passion

Our passion is to help people encounter Jesus and experience his grace in a transforming way. From personal trauma to systemic challenges in your organization. Our joy is to walk alongside you so you know you are not alone and to help discern who God is, what He has done, what He is doing today, and what He is calling you towards.

COUNSELING

We provide gospel-centered, clinically-informed, affordable counseling online so it is accessible to anyone, anywhere. Whether it is marital issues, anxiety, depression, relational conflict, parenting issues, or leadership struggles we can help.

EQUIPPING

We have many years of experience in churches of all sizes and excellent training resources in leading small groups, developing coaches and staff who oversee discipleship areas, or equipping counselors. We tailor our training to your needs.

CONSULTING
